Screen summit 3-2

It is your last chance to grab a ticket for Screen International’s ‘The Future Of UK Film’ Summit where speakers include Alex Hamilton from Studiocanal UK, Zygi Kamasa from True Brit Entertainment, Julia Stuart from Sky Original Film, Elizabeth Karlsen from Number 9 Films and actor/producer Jack Lowden.

The event takes place tomorrow (September 24) at the BFI Southbank in London.

The day will start with the latest news on the UK Independent Film Tax Credit (IFTC), with insights coming from BFI deputy CEO Harriet Finney, Neon Films’ producer Nicky Bentham, Coutts’ executive director of media banking Judith Chan and Saffrey partner Moses Nyachae.

The summit will conclude with a session exploring how UK distributors are working to successfully connect UK indie films with audiences. ‘How to Hit the Theatrical Bull’s Eye’ will bring together Alex Hamilton, CEO of Studiocanal UK, Marie-Claire Benson, CEO of Lionsgate UK, and Kate Gardiner, marketing director of Searchlight EMEA.

In between, sessions will feature leading producers Gillian Berrie of Sigma Films, Mark Lane of Tea Shop Productions, Fiona Lamptey of Juno Studios and Matt Wilkinson of Stigma; top producer-financiers Zygi Kamasa of True Brit Entertainment, Phil Hunt of Head Gear Film, Sebastien Raybaud of Anton and Julia Stuart of Sky Original Film; and a talent and packaging panel bringing together Jack Lowden, producer Elizabeth Karlsen of Number 9 Films, agent Jane Epstein of Independent Talent and Katie Ellen, head of production at HanWay Films.
