As part of its Asian cinema reports from the festival, the multi-lingual digital film festival radio now hosts Japanese, Korean and Mandarin channels, bringing its total of language channels to 14.
FRED has been broadcasting daily from Udine, sharing the latest news from the festival for both those attending and those would couldn’t.
Kim Dong-ho, director of Busan International Film Festival, commented: “Thanks to its new channels, FRED contributes to the cultural exchange and understanding between communities. Theirs is an important role.”
