For the first time, the all-nighter will hold regional events on Nov 3, as well as the Oct 27 all-nighter at the Vue in London’s Leicester Square.
Film4 FrightFest have announced that it will host five UK premieres as part of their annual Halloween all-nighter, set to take place on Oct 27 at the Vue in London’s Leicester Square.
The night will kick off with Richard Bates Jr.’s Excision at 6.30pm, followed by a surprise film at 9pm and Pascal Laugier’s The Tall Man [pictured] at 11.45pm. The early hours will see screenings of Kimble Rendall’s Bait 3D at 2.15am and a retrospective of Lucio Fulci’s Zombie Flesheaters at 4am, before the event closes with Christopher B. Stokes’ The Helpers at 5.45am. All films, apart from the retrospective, are UK premieres.
For the first time this year, the all-nighter will also host regional events on Nov 3 at the Picturehouse in Cambridge, the GFT Glasgow (which also hosts the Glasgow Film Festival’s annual FrightFest strand), the Empires in Sunderland and Newcastle and The Watershed Bristol. However, these venues will not be showing all of the films screening at the London event.
Tickets for the London all-nighter go on sale on Oct 1, priced at £50 from Vue’s website. For further details on the regional events, visit FrightFest’s website.
