Altitude has picked up UK and Ireland rights to Georgia Oakley’s debut Blue Jean from Film Constellation.
The film is screening in Venice’s Giornate degli Autori.
Screen Star of Tomorrow Rosy McEwen stars in the film about a closeted teacher grappling with her identity during 1980’s Thatcherism. Kleio Films produced with backing from BBC Film, BFI and Great Point Media.
Blue Jean is also screening at the Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
Altitude recently boarded Laura Poitras’ competition title, the documentary All The Beauty And The Bloodshed.
