Philipp Künstle has been appointed CEO of the Erich Pommer Institut (EPI), the Germany-based media training organisation and think tank.
Künstle, who has been with EPI since 2017, moves up from his previous position in charge of the degree course department.
He replaces the outgoing Nadja Radojevic, who left EPI as CEO after 14 years at the end of March to become CEO at the international film school Cologne (ifs).
The new CEO’s previous experience includes working as marketing manager in Los Angeles for the National Association of Record Industry Professionals.
“In addition to expanding our degree courses, I see great potential in the internationalisation and digitalisation of our further training offers, also beyond the audiovisual industry,” said Künstle.
Founded in 1998, the EPI is affiliated with the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf and the University of Potsdam.
