Guillermo del Toro has been added to the line-up of Screen Talks taking place during this year’s BFI London Film Festival (Oct 4-15).
The director’s latest film The Shape Of Water is the American Airlines gala at the event. His Screen Talk will take place on Wednesday October 11 at 14.45 in NFT 1 at BFI Southbank
Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lucrecia Martel and Takashi Miike have already been announced to give Screen Talks.
The LFF has also confirmed that Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer, Dustin Hoffman and Adam Sandler of The Meyerowitz Stories (New And Selected), Mudbound’s Jason Clarke and The Party’s Cherry Jones will make an appearance at the event.
Other guests announced today include Marine Vacth (Amant Double); Mark Stanley and Ruth Wilson (Dark River); Christoph Waltz and Hong Chau (Downsizing); Dominic Cooke (On Chesil Beach); Richard Jenkins (The Shape Of Water); Olivia Cooke (Thoroughbreds) and Peter Dinklage and Woody Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri).
Filmmakers now confirmed to attend include Michel Franco (April’s Daughter); S. Craig Zahler (Brawl In Cell Block 99); Josh Safdie (Good Time); John Cameron Mitchell (How To Talk To Girls At Parties); Terry Gilliam (Jabberwocky); Paddy Considine (Journeyman); Susanna Nicchiarelli (Nico, 1988); Dominic Cooke (On Chesil Beach); Kirsten Tan (Pop Aye); Michaël R. Roskam (Racer And The Jailbird) and Christopher Doyle (The White Girl).
