Katie Irwin has been promoted to manager of distribution for Myriad Pictures.

She will focus on television sales, working alongside Myriad’s senior vice president of distribution Jeffrey Engelen and reporting to Engelen and company president/CEO Kirk D’Amico.

Irwin joined Myriad in 2008 as D’Amico’s assistant. She began her entertainment career at Hollywood Gang Productions.

D’Amico said Irwin is “smart and hard-working and brings a lot of energy to her assignments. The fact that she speaks Mandarin and several other languages is an added bonus.”

Current Myriad projects include financial thriller Margin Call, Toronto world premiere Good Neighbours and Sundance Audience Award winner happythankyouplease.
