Jackrabbit Media is gearing up to commence sales talks at EFM this week on supernatural horror Baby Blue directed by Adam Mason, the filmmaker behind Songbird and Hangman.
Microdose Entertainment produced the film which shot on location in Los Angeles and tells of a group of teens who stumble across the story of the dead serial killer Baby Blue.
When they turn him into the subject of a podcast they soon learn that his murder spree never ended and they are being targeted from beyond the grave. The cast includes Aramis Knight, Ally Ioannides, Cyrus Arnold, and Dylan Sprayberry.
Mason said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Jackrabbit on the first of what [Mason expects] to be a large slate of crazy but highly commercial genre films like Baby Blue. It’s been an absolute joy working with Jack and the team, and we have a strong inkling that this will be just the start of an ongoing creative and business relationship between our two companies.”
Jackrabbit Media president and CEO Jack Campbell added, “We are thrilled to be working with Adam on the release of Baby Blue. This film boasts a unique combination of horror, suspense, and well-crafted characters, making it a standout in the genre. With this talened cast and crew, we look forward to bringing this film to audiences worldwide.”
Baby Blue will get its North American release via XYZ Films in spring.
