The veteran most recently served as director of acquisitions at Paramount Home Media and arrives as vice president of acquisitions, effective immediately.

Among Deutchman’s duties will be a mandate to diversify the company’s distribution pipelines.

“I’m proud to welcome Jeff to our team,” said Millennium Entertainment CEO Bill Lee. “His vast knowledge of film and his understanding of multi-platform strategies will be a huge asset to the organization as we continue to evolve and grow.”

In August the management team of Millennium Entertainment led by Lee and Virgo Investment Group partnered to acquire the Millennium Entertainment catalogue assets and film distribution platform from a consortium of investors.

As a part of the transaction Millennium Entertainment will undergo a name change in the coming months.
