Kaleidoscope Film Distribution (KFD) is to bring a trio of new titles to the AFM including writer-director Adam Green’s Frightfest monster-horror Digging Up The Marrow.
Also new to the slate are thriller The Last Survivors and sports doc Life in Extremes.
In Digging Up The Marrow, writer-director Green turns actor as he receives a package from a strange man claiming that he can prove that monsters exist. Green and his crew are then taken on a mysterious journey into the deep underground.
The deal for the film was signed by Caroline Stern, director of sales and acquisition, KFD, and Cory Neal of The Hacienda Film Co.
The Last Survivors, starring Hayley Lu Richardson and Booboo Stewart, follows two teenagers battling to survive in a barren valley where they must fight off a gang of bloodthirsty mercenaries.
Thomas S Hammock, production designer on You’re Next, V/H/S 2 and The Guest, makes his feature debut. Chris Harding (The Guest, You’re Next) produces.
The deal was signed by Stern and Dante Federighi of Federighi Films.
Also premiering for KFD is sports documentary Life In Extremes, about the lives of a base jumper, a free diver and an extreme cyclist, from director Sascha Kollnreitner and producer Carl Hollman.
