The international rights to Ted Koland’s debut feature have been picked up by Danish sales company LevelK.

Best Man Down stars Jess Weixler and Justin Long as a bride and groom whose wedding goes off the rails when their obnoxious best man, Lumpy, dies. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and arrange his funeral, they soon discover that their friend isn’t quite who they thought he was.

Written and directed by Ted Koland, Best Man Down is produced by David Abbitt, Jen Roskind, Sharyn Steele for Koda Entertainment.

Other cast includes Tyler Labine, Addison Timlin, Frances O’Connor and Shelley Long.

Kevin Iwashina at Preferred Content negotiated the deal on behalf of Koda Entertainment with Tine Klint at LevelK. LevelK will be handling international rights. A US release has yet to be announced.
