Veteran has worked on Hunger Games, John Wick franchises.
Lionsgate has promoted The Hunger Games and John Wick veteran David Edwards to executive vice-president global marketing.
Edwards will oversee creative, digital, and strategy for the studio’s global motion picture marketing department and reports to the studio’s president of global marketing Marisa Liston.
He most recently served as senior vice-president of global marketing strategy where he developed data-based marketing strategies and oversaw content production on campaigns for the aforementioned franchises as well as La La Land, Wonder and Knives Out.
He is currently working on recent SXSW world premiere The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent starring Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal, the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 and Wonder follow-up White Bird: A Wonder Story.
Prior to joining Lionsgate Edwards worked at social media and digital creative agency Digital Media Management where he established the agency’s theatrical film marketing division.
