EXCLUSIVE: Gerald McCullouch’s feature debut set to world premiere at Montreal.
M-appeal has sold Gerald McCullouch’s Daddy to the UK (TLA Entertainment) and France (Optimale SARL), ahead of its world premiere at the Montreal Film Festival (Aug 27 - Sept 7).
The relationship drama previously sold to Pro-Fun for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The story centres on Colin and Stew, whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when Colin falls for a younger man.
US actor McCullouch, known for his role on 10 seasons of CSI, also stars as Colin in the film.
He played the same role in the New York stage version of Daddy, written by Dan Via, who also stars in the film alongside Jaime Cepero and Tamlyn Tomita.
