MarVista Entertainment has announced the Holocaust memorial fundraising campaign Six Million For Six Million.

The company aims to raise a $6m budget for a feature about the life of 88-year-old Survivor and author Dr Henry A Oertelt.

The film will be based on Oertelt’s award-winning book An Unbroken Chain, My Journey through The Nazi Holocaust.

“When addressing students over the past 40 years, I have always said, if you absolutely have to hate, hate ‘hate’,” Oertelt said. “I am very pleased to reach even more people with this message.”

MarVista is partnering with producer Stephanie Silverman Houser, who has started an education fund for the film project that will provide tax deductions to donors.
