Maya Entertainment has sold Jennifer Love Hewitt romantic comedy Café to 13 international markets.
In deals done during the Cannes festival the film was sold for Benelux (to Just Bridge), France (FIP), Spain (Savor Entertainment), Turkey (Digi Turk), Poland (Vision), Canada (VVS), India (Tanweer), Latin America (Pola Star), the Middle East (Eagle Film), Mexico (Cienfilms), Peru (Star), China (DDdream Entertainment) and Venezuela (Blanco and Traviezo). Airline rights went to Captive Entertainment.
Café tracks a week in the life of a group of West Philadelphia residents whose lives revolve around a hip local coffee shop. Starring with Hewitt are Jamie Kennedy and Alexa Vega. Marc Erlbaum makes his debut as a director and also wrote the screenplay.
