Millennium Media’s Nu Boyana studio complex in Bulgaria has offered to provide work and accommodation to film industry professionals from Ukraine who are able to reach the border.
In a post shared on social media a statement on behalf of BY2 Productions and Nu Boyana said, “We know these are difficult times and you are faced with many uncertainties. Know that we are here to help.
“If you make it to the borders and are looking for help we are here. Please contact us on various channels.”
Nu Boyana CEO Yariv Lerner and his staff are due to hold a meeting on Monday to discuss ways of helping non-industry professionals.
“Today we are more connected than apart and yet we choose division over unification through opinions and perspectives rather than truth necessity and kindness,” Lerner told Screendaily. “My heart breaks when stupid words turn into violence and rhetoric becomes an instigator of destruction.”
Nu Boyana has hosted major independent and studio productions including the Expendables and Has Fallen franchises, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Rambo, Till Death and Hellboy.
