Millennium Media thriller Till Death is set to start production on Thursday (August 6) at the company’s Nu Boyana studio in Sofia, Bulgaria, becoming the first American production to shoot at the studio since the start of the pandemic shut down.
According to Millennium, Nu Boyana, which has been hosting productions since it re-opened in mid-May, has worked with the Bulgarian government to develop custom shooting protocols that include social distancing, mandatory tests before and during production, the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and sanitation procedures, a closed set and the separation of departments. Till Death is also working within guidelines developed by US union SAG-AFTRA.
Till Death stars Megan Fox as a woman trying to evade two killers hired to execute a revenge plot aimed at her husband. Australian filmmaker S K Dale directs from a script by Jason Carvey. David Leslie Johnson is producing alongside Millennium’s Tanner Mobley, Les Weldon, Yariv Lerner, and Rob Van Norden. Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson, Jeffrey Greenstein and Jonathan Yunger are executive producers for Millennium.
