Distributor to release Richard Bates Jr.’s debut in the UK in November.

Genre label Monster Pictures has announced it will release Richard Bates Jr.’s feature debut Excision in the UK this November.

Bates Jr.’s horror stars AnnaLynne McCord as a high school outcast who fantasises about performing surgery and is expanded from his award-winning short of the same name. Excision enjoyed recent success with its Canadian premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal and premiered at this year’s Sundance.

Monster Pictures will release Excision on a limited theatrical run in the UK on Nov 2, ahead of its DVD & Blu-ray on Nov 12. London preview screenings will be held from Oct 28 at the Prince Charles Cinema.

Ahead of its UK release, Excision will play at the likes of Sheffield’s Celluloid Screams and Dublin’s Horrorthon.
