Myriad Pictures president and CEO Kirk D’Amico has promoted Kevin Forester to chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Forester previously served as vice-president, finance and controller and will continue to be responsible for managing corporate finance and strategic planning as well as overseeing all financial functions for the company.

These functions include corporate and project financial analysis, preparation and implementation of annual budgets, contract negotiations, day-to-day accounting practices, collections, information technology and human resources.  

Prior to joining Myriad in 2006, Forester began his career in film finance and accounting at The Bubble Factory where he worked for 11 years, ultimately serving as vice-president of finance and operations.
