Nat McCormick has been promoted to president of worldwide sales and distribution at Los Angeles-based film and TV sales, finance and production company The Exchange.
McCormick currently leads worldwide sales and distribution on the company’s roster of films and has played an instrumental role in the company’s success over the past 10 years.
He most recently served as EVP of worldwide sales and distribution and prior to that was director of international sales and operations at IM Global, and director of international sales and acquisitions for Affinity International during his two decades in the entertainment industry.
Additionally, Paige Williams has been hired as director of business and legal affairs. Williams has negotiated various development and production agreements and worked on licensing agreements for worldwide film acquisitions and sales with Netflix, Amazon and Universal while working for Voltage Pictures. At Dolphin Entertainment Inc she assisted the CEO with various legal issues and business expansion opportunities.
“Nat and I have been working together for 15 years already,” said The Exchange CEO Brian O’Shea. “Over this time he has continued to grow, always taking on more responsibilities, and has been someone you can rely on to consistently deliver results. We are delighted to have Paige joining our ranks, she is very promising.”
The Exchange’s current line-up includes Andrea Pallaoro’s Venice Competition selection and English-language debut Monica, as well as Street Gang: How We Got To Sesame Street and Justine Bateman’s Violet, which premiered at Sundance 2021 and TIFF 2021, respectively.
