Streaming service available in Nordic countries in late 2012.
Netflix, Inc., the world’s leading internet subscription service for TV and film, has announced that it will launch in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland later this year.
Once launched, broadband internet users in the Nordic countries will be able to subscribe and instantly watch a wide range of Hollywood, local and global TV shows and films. Full details, including pricing, content and supported devices, will be revealed nearer its launch.
The Nordic launch marks the latest expansion for Netflix since its US debut in 2007. It added Canada in 2010 and Latin America last year, before expanding to the UK and Ireland earlier this year.
