Workman Arts, a non-profit organisation fighting mental disease, will celebrate Mental Health Week from May 5-11 with the Rendezvous With Madness Film Festival.
Workman Arts will produce a variety of film-related events across Toronto to encourage people from all walks of life to reflect and engage with others on issues regarding mental health.
“For years, Mental Health Week has been overlooked”, said Lisa Brown, founder and executive artistic director of Workman Arts, “but not anymore because we are showcasing a diverse and rich array of artistic media from over seventy talented filmmakers.”
The week will also including films such as Fat Kid Rules The World and short films such as Marko’s Mania and Monsters.
