Luxembourg’s submission to the Best Foreign-Language Film category will be Donato Rotunno’s Baby(a)lone.

Luxembourg has selected its entry for the 2016 Best Foreign-Language Film Oscar: Baby(a)lone, a drama that follows a young girl and boy growing up surrounded by a culture of violence, drugs and pornography.

The film received a release in its native Luxembourg in March and played at the Stockholm Filmfestival Junior in April.

Iris Productions produced the film and are acting as worldwide distributors.
