UK sales outfit Carnaby has inked pre-sales on action Panzer 88 with Bobby Jones of IPA Asia for Thailand and Vietnam.

Additional deals have closed with Monolith for Poland, Blitz Film in the Former Yugoslavia, J&J Media in Korea and Gulf Film for Middle East.

Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz produces Panzer 88 with Alien and Blade Runner associate producer Ivor Powell. Hellboy co-writer Peter Briggs has written the script and will direct.

VFX companies Weta Workshop and Prime Focus are also aboard.

The project, about a five-man German tank crew which encounters a supernatural entity as they motor across Russia, is due to go into production later this year.
