Pathe International is to shop one of the hottest drama scripts at the AFM (Nov 5-12), Stephen Frears biopic Florence.

Meryl Streep is set to star as the eponymous Florence Foster Jenkins, the New York heiress determined to become a famous opera singer in the early 20th century, despite her lack of talent.

Grant will play her partner and manager, actor St. Clair Bayfield.

Script comes from Nicholas Martin. Michael Kuhn and Tracey Seaward will produce.
