Content to begin sales of “twisted supernatural horror” at Cannes.
Content Films is to handle international sales on supernatural horror Dark Summer, from Grace director Paul Solet, starting at Cannes.
Content will share North American sales duties with Preferred Content’s Kevin Iwashina.
Production is set to begin in autumn 2013 on the ghost story that follows a 17 year-old on house arrest for the summer. A horrifying incident occurs, followed by a terrifying presence in the house.
Solet will direct for Preferred Film & TV and the script has been penned by Mike Le, creator of web series K-Town.
Producer is Ross M Dinerstein for Preferred and executive producer is Content Film’s Jamie Carmichael.
Solet is represented by Paradigm and Principato Young. Le is represented by APA and manager Jonathan Hung.
