Premiere Entertainment Group (PEG) has boarded creature feature Crom, action thriller Safehouse, and family sci-fi Space Pups and has begun talks with EFM buyers.
Crom is in the vein of 1980s genre cinema and follows a group of high school teenagers who unleash a mythological being in their hometown and must stop it before midnight on Halloween. Chelsea Jurkiewicz, Tanner Gillman, Colin Cunningham, and Monica Moore Smith star.
Rob York directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Baird. York produced with J.R. Andrus, while Jason Faller, Kynan Griffin and Taylor Ellis served as executive producers.
Safehouse centres on a young Mexican woman forced to flee after her brother is killed and finds herself caught up with the CIA, government informants and the cartel. The cast includes Alondra Delgado, Robert Seay, David Thomas Jenkins, and Jessica Martin del Campo.
Paul Street directed from his original screenplay and produced with James Bonfiglio. Lizbet Salas, Krista Fergusson and Raymond Mendoza are the executive producers.
Rounding out the roster is Jason M. Murphy’s CGI-live-action Space Pups about three aliens stranded on earth who attempt to fix their spaceship with the help of two children.
Elijah Green, Riley Madison Fuller, and Myron Donley star. Anthony Steven Giordano wrote the screenplay and Mark Boot and Kenny Beaumont produced, with Eli Lipnik and Murray Lipnik serving as executive producers.
Premiere Entertainment Group CEO Elias Axume and SVP of acquisitions Carlos Rincon negotiated the deals with the producers on each project.
