The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced key dates for the upcoming season and will host its 34th annual awards gala in Los Angeles on February 25.
The eligibility period for theatrical films runs January 1-December 31, 2022. Nominations polls open for theatrical films on December 21 and close on January 11, 2023, ahead of the nominations announcement on January 12, 2023.
Final polls voting is activated from January 27-February 17, 2023. The Guild will host East and West Coast celebrations of the awards nominees and producing teams in the week of February 20, 2023, with further details to follow.
The fourth annual PGA Innovation Award will also be presented to the production of “a noteworthy, impactful new media program that significantly elevates the audience’s viewing experience”. Key dates and details for the Innovation Award will be announced at a later date.
Last season’s PGA winners included Darryl F. Zanuck Award recipient and eventual Oscar best picture winner CODA, as well as Encanto and Summer Of Soul.
