Radiant Films International has closed major territory deals on writer-director Mukunda Michael Dewil’s completed psychological thriller The Immaculate Room starring Emile Hirsch, Kate Bosworth and Ashley Greene Khoury.
CEO Mimi Steinbauer and her team have licensed rights on the Productivity Media, K5 Film and Balcony9 feature to Sky for the UK, Family Films for France, and defiant! for Australia and New Zealand. Screen Media will distribute in the US.
The Immaculate Room follows a seemingly perfect couple who take part in a psychological experiment that will reward them with $5m if they can stay in a pure white room for 50 days. But the room is much more than it seems, and a hidden past and private demons will reveal shameful truths that the couple may not survive.
Hirsch has starred in Into The Wild and Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, while Bosworth’s credits include Before I Wake and Still Alice. Greene Khoury has been in Bombshell and The Twilight Saga. The cast includes M. Emmet Walsh from Blood Simple and Blade Runner.
Daniel Baur, Joel David Moore and Doug Murray produced The Immaculate Room with Ryan Reaney, William G. Santor, Andrew Chang-Sang, and John Hills serving as executive producers.
“This tense psychological sci-fi thriller led by a fiercely talented cast keeps audiences guessing at every turn,” said Steinbauer. “Our friends at Productivity Media continue to deliver clever, original and satisfying films that our international distribution partners can’t get enough of.”
