Raven Banner has unveiled its EFM Slate with market premieres for Anthony DiBlasi’s Malum, Ryan Thiessen and Greg Swinson’s Hunt Her, Kill Her and Steve Wolsh’s Kill Her Goats.
The Toronto-based company has partnered with new genre studio Welcome Villain Films on its first original production Malum, as well as its upcoming survival horror release Hunt Her, Kill Her. Welcome Villain will distribute both films theatrically in North America with Raven Banner representing the films internationally.
DiBlasi (Dread) directs Malum from a screenplay by DiBlasi and Scott Poiley about a rookie cop who willingly takes the last shift at a decommissioned police station in an attempt to uncover the mysterious connection between her father’s death and a vicious cult. Throughout the night she is assailed by supernatural events as she tries to uncover the truth behind her family’s twisted past.
Thiessen and Swinson’s Hunt Her, Kill Her follows a night shift janitor during her first night on the job who ends up in a fight for survival when she becomes the target of sinister masked intruders.
Wolsh’s home invasion thriller Kill Her Goats starring horror icon Kane Hodder and Arielle Raycene is the tale of a graduate whose gift of a dream house turns into a nightmare when uninvited guests show up to the party.
Raven Banner will handle international sales and Living Dead Media is distributing in North America.
