Cannibal Holocaust director joins the likes of Nacho Vigalondo and Uwe Boll on the project.
Italian director and screenwriter Ruggero Deodato, best known for 1980’s infamous Cannibal Holocaust, has joined the directors working on international horror anthology The Profane Exhibit.
Deodato’s segment Bridge [pictured] has just finished shooting and will come with a soundtrack from Killjoy of the death metal band Necrophagia.
The Profane Exhibit was conceived, written and produced by David Bond and Manda Manuel, with its wraparound segment written by horror writer Ray Garton and Scott Swan writing the screenplay. Jeremy Kasten, director of the 2007 remake of The Wizard Of Gore, serves as the anthology’s editor.
Other directors involved include Nacho Vigalondo - who also directed a segment of upcoming anthology The ABCs Of Death which world premieres in Toronto - and Uwe Boll.
