Rupert Friend has joined Kate Beckinsale in the cast of action thriller Canary Black which Anton is selling at this week’s American Film Market in Santa Monica.
Taken’s Pierre Morel is directing the film which has started shooting in Croatia.
Beckinsale stars as a woman whose husband is kidnapped by terrorists and forced to risk betraying her country in order to save him.
Anton is also producing the title alongside US-based companies Sentient Entertainment, Brickell & Broadbridge International and Oakhurst Entertainment.
Friend is best known for his work on TV series Homeland and features Hitman: Agent 47, The Death Of Stalin and The Young Victoria.
