Screen Ireland has revamped its film production and development department, with two promotions and a new appointment.
Celine Haddad has been promoted to the role of senior project manager – feature film lead, having worked as a project manager for Screen Ireland for the past five years, executive producing features including Wildfire and Wolfwalkers. She has previously held roles at Creative England, Pathé, Passion Pictures and Independent.
In her new position, Haddad will be responsible for oversight and strategic management of the Screen Ireland feature film slate, through development and production.
Eimear Markey takes up the role of development manager, having been development executive at Screen Ireland for the past four years, where she worked on projects including Sea Fever, Deadly Cuts and Wolf. She has also managed key development schemes such as Spotlight, Screenplay Development and Cine4. As development manager Markey will look after the development slate with an aim to connecting titles with their target audience in Ireland and internationally.
Heather Browning has been appointed as development executive, and will provide editorial support to Markey through the development process. Browning has worked for a number of Irish production companies as a script editor and consultant.
She previously held the position of development executive at Deadpan Pictures, and as a script editor on development initiative X-Pollinator: Incubator and Screen Ireland’s Spotlight and New Writing schemes.
