In a deal with French studio EuropaCorp, Shout! Factory has acquired US home entertainment, digital and broadcast rights to CG animated feature A Monster In Paris and Luc Besson’s adventure film The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec.
Shout! Factory plans a strategic rollout of the films on packaged media, electronic sell through, VOD, subscription VOD and television platforms, with Monster (pictured) set to hit the marketplace early in 2013.

Factory founders Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos. “We look forward to presenting these films that delivering captivating cinematic experiences for families of all ages.”
Directed by Bibo Bergeron, A Monster in Paris has an international voice cast including Vanessa Paradis, Sean Lennon, Adam Goldberg, and Danny Huston. The animated family adventure also features vocals by Paradis and Lennon, with a music score by French singer/songwriter Matthieu Chedid (aka M) and Patrice Renson.
The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec is an adaptation of a popular French-Belgian comic book series by graphic novelist Jacques Tardi about a young reporter. The film stars Louise Bourgoin, Mathieu Amalric and Gilles Lellouche.
