Mads Mikkelsen will star for eOne and Thunder Road in Dust Bunny, which Sierra/Affinity is introducing to AFM buyers this week.
Bryan Fuller will direct from his screenplay and production is scheduled to commence in January 2023 on the story of an eight-year-old girl who enlists the help of her intriguing neighbour to kill the monster under her bed that she believes ate her family.
Fuller serves as producer alongside Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee.
“We have been huge fans of Bryan’s for years,” said Thunder Road’s Lee. “Dust Bunny is incredibly inventive and unlike anything in the marketplace and we are thrilled to help bring his first feature to life.”

Mikkelsen’s credits include the upcoming Indiana Jones 5 as well as Oscar winner Another Round, Doctor Strange, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore.
Fuller is the writer behind the WGA- and Emmy-winning series Pushing Daisies at ABC, Hannibal at NBC, and American Gods at Starz. He is co-creator of Star Trek: Discovery and recently produced and directed the documentary Queer For Fear on AMC+.
