Signature Entertainment has secured a raft of new acquisitions to be released over the coming year.
The films will include the UK distributor’s biggest theatrical release to date, The Legends of Oz: Dorothy Returns, a $70m animation featuring the voices of Lea Michele, Kelsey Grammer, Hugh Dancy, Patrick Stewart and Dan Aykroyd.
The deal, inked with Hyde Park, will see the film released in UK cinemas this May.
Other acquisitions include music documentary Made In America, from The Exchange. Ron Howard directs and Brian Grazer produces with Jay-Z, following the hip-hop artist’s “Made In America” music festival, from inception to execution.
Additional new titles include:

- bodybuilding documentary follow-up Pumping Iron - Generation Iron, narrated by Mickey Rouke and featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, from a deal repped by Vladar Company;
- Child of God, from Spotlight, both directed by and starring James Franco, adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel.
