Signature ups Claire Loewenthal

UK distributor Signature Entertainment has promoted creative director Claire Loewenthal to acquisitions manager.

Loewenthal will now oversee acquisitions alongside the senior management team at Signature, whose 2015 slate includes Predestination, Kidnapping Freddy Heineken, Rise of the Krays and Last Knights.

The exec has worked at the company since its inception, and has handled titles including Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, The Snow Queen and The Heist.

Loewenthal will report to managing director Marc Goldberg and will take up her post in March.

Goldberg said: “I’m delighted to announce Claire’s promotion as she has been a huge asset to the Signature team, working across multiple departments since we started out. Her extensive knowledge of the workings across the business puts her in tremendous stead to harness this role and find new and exciting projects to help us continue to grow.”
