Bille August’s intimate drama [pictured] sells to Benelux, Taiwan, Hungary and Australia.

LevelK has announced the first round of sales on Silent Heart.

Bille August’s intimate drama has sold to Benelux (Wildbunch), Taiwan (Atom), Hungary (Cirko) and Australia (Madman), buying off the promo that LevelK presented in Cannes, with further territories to be announced shortly.

Currently in post-production, Silent Heart stars Paprika Steen, Pilou Asbæk, Danica Curcic and Ghita Nørby as a family who gathers for one last weekend with the family’s ailing matriarch (Nørby), who will take her own life when the weekend is over.

It is produced by Jesper Morthorst for SF Film Production and is supported by The Danish Film Institute, SF Film A/S, TV2 Danmark and FilmFyn.

SF Film A/S will handle the local Scandinavian release, set for the winter 2014/15.
