European production and distribution outfit Studiocanal has promoted a trio of its executives.
Hugh Spearing, previously head of international creative marketing, has been named head of global marketing. Based between Paris and London, he will lead the company’s central marketing team.
Suzanne Noble, former head of UK publicity and corporate communications, is now head of global film publicity and communication. She will lead the international publicity team and will continue to be based in London.
Simon Bobin has been appointed SVP global film distribution, moving up from his role as vice president of international distribution. He will be based in Paris and will oversee Studiocanal’s film dating strategy, P&A approvals and box office reporting.
All three will report to Anna Marsh, EVP international distribution.
The International Film Distribution Division covers territories where Studiocanal operates directly – UK, France, Germany, Australia and NZ. It also offers support to distribution partners around the world.
Studiocanal’s upcoming releases include Paddington 2, the Liam Neeson-starring The Commuter, and Aardman Animation’s Early Man.
