Heading into the AFM STXinternational has picked up international sales rights to spy thriller The Red Sea Diving Resort starring Chris Evans.
Bron Studios and EMJAG are producing the story of a true-life rescue mission, which is in post. Gideon Raff directs from his screenplay about an Israeli agent who runs a Mossad operation with a crack team to smuggle thousands of persecuted Ethiopian Jews to safety under the cover of a fictitious diving resort.
Haley Bennett, Alessandro Nivola, Greg Kinnear, Michiel Huisman, Michael K. Williams and Ben Kingsley also star.
STXinternational will directly distribute The Red Sea Diving Resort in the UK, while Endeavor Content and CAA represent US rights.
Bron head Aaron L. Gilbert produces alongside Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Productions and Raff. Jason Cloth and Andy Pollack of Creative Wealth Media serve as executive producers.
