AMC/Sundance Channel has picked up five indie titles from this year’s festival and locked fresh distribution agreements around the world.
AMC/Sundance Channel Global has acquired the linear and on demand premiere rights to five films at the Sundance Film Festival: Computer Chess, Halley, I Used to be Darker, It Felt Like Love and This is Martin Bonner.
The channel will debut the films throughout Europe and Asia in conjunction with the second Sundance London Film & Music Festival in late April.
Bruce Tuchman, AMC/Sundance Channel Global president, also announced new distribution agreements with Multimedia Polska in Poland, Magyar Telecom in Hungary and R in Spain.
The channel was recently made available on Sky Philippines, while affiliate WE tv has recently launched in Thailand on the new IPTV platform MeTV in Thailand.
