Filmmakers Lena Dunham, Jason Blum and Casey Neistat will deliver daily keynote addresses at SXSW 2014.
Festival organisers also announced the first batch of confirmed panels, workshops and Digital Domain sessions and the all-new Future 15 track.
Lena Dunham is the creator and star of the HBO series Girls, for which she has received eight Emmy nominations and has won two Golden Globes. She also wrote and directed independent feature Tiny Furniture in 2010.
Jason Blum is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, and has produced films including the Paranormal Activity franchise, Insidious, Sinister and The Purge.
Casey Neistat is a director, producer and creator of popular YouTube videos since 2010. He is also the creator of HBO series The Neistat Brothers.
These sessions join the previously announced content for the new SXsports, including Mandalay Sports Media’s Peter Guber and ESPN’s Bill Simmons and Nate Silver in conversation.
The SXSW Film Conference and Festival will take place from March 7-15 2014 in Austin, Texas.
“Though our conference has long featured dynamic speakers, we’re kicking it to a new level this year,” said head of SXSW film Janet Pierson
“By adding a daily Keynote, we aspire to further highlight and draw all eyes to creators who impact our culture in diverse and fascinating ways.
“Our first three keynotes epitomize the root of what SXSW Film stands for: singular vision, DIY creation and gleefully colouring outside the established lines.”
Panel topics will include how to market a film, investigative reporting, distribution partners, social media and viral content.
