T2 Trainspotting was the big winner at the 2017 Scottish Baftas, winning three awards: best film, best director for Danny Boyle and best film actor for Ewan Bremner.
The prizes for the British Academy Scotland Awards, which celebrate the best in film, TV and games from Scotland, were handed out last night (Nov 5) in Glasgow.
The award for Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television went to writer, producer, director Armando Iannucci. His latest film The Death Of Stalin is currently playing in UK cinemas.
Cameraman Doug Allan was honoured for his Outstanding Contribution to Craft.
Deirdre Mullins won the best film actress award for The Dark Mile directed by Gary Love.
Screen International Star of Tomorrow Hope Dickson Leach won in the Writer Film/Television category for The Levelling.
