The Exchange has acquired worldwide sales rights to action thriller Hard Matter starring Harvey Keitel, Tyrese Gibson and Frank Grillo.
EVP of Sales and Distribution Nat McCormick (pictured) and the sales team will introduce the project to buyers on the Croisette in less than two weeks.
Hard Matter takes place in an America divided by quadrants where a power-hungry corporation takes control of the prison system and criminals as the new law enforcers inflict capital punishment to reclaim their place in society.
Justin Price is directing from his screenplay. Producers are Jeff Bowler (Primal, Lamborghini) and Bret Saxon (Primal, Disturbing The Place) of Wonderfilm Media, Latavius Powell and Price. Richard Salvatore, Chris Neville and Stien Davis serve as executive producers.
The Exchange‘s Cannes line-up includes Steve Zahn, Jared Harris and John Magaro in LaRoy; Kaley Cucuo and Pete Davidson in Meet Cute; and John Cena, Brian Cox and Jodie Turner-Smith in The Independent.
