The Exchange has come on board to handle international sales on the Shudder Original Film and upcoming TIFF Midnight Madness world premiere V/H/S/99.

The horror anthology will debut on Shudder in North America, the UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on October 20.

Set in the dawn of the new millennium, the story harkens back to the final punk rock analogue days of VHS and centres on a teenager’s home video which leads to a series of horrifying revelations.

Genre filmmakers Maggie Levin (Into The Dark: My Valentine), Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City), Flying Lotus (Kuso), Tyler MacIntyre (Tragedy Girls) and Joseph and Vanessa Winter (Deadstream) served as co-directors.

“We are excited to bring the newest chapter of this highly successful franchise and this year’s highly anticipated Midnight Madness title to international audiences,” said Nat McCormick, newly promoted president of worldwide sales and distribution at The Exchange.

TIFF runs from September 8-18.
