Toronto staff have scheduled an extra Saturday press and industry screening of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom after a technical glitch cut short an afternoon show. The film receives its public world premiere at 6pm.

Saturday’s 10.15pm P+I session at Scotiabank 5 replaces the aborted 3.45pm presentation at Scotiabank 1 when sound problems forced staff to cancel the event 45 minutes into the film.

The Weinstein Company holds US rights, eOne holds Canadian rights and Pathé handles international sales. Idris Elba and Naomie Harris star and Justin Chadwick directed.
