Errol Morris’ Tabloid, Werner Herzog’s Cave of Forgotten Dreams and Thom Zimny’s The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town are to get their world premieres in the documentary line-up of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
The festival also announced the line-up for its Wavelengths section of international and avant-garde films and videos. The section (which runs September 10-13) will comprise 36 titles in six programmes, including works by James Benning, Nathaniel Dorsky, Paolo Gioli, Ken Jacobs and Peter Tscherkassky.
