The Canadian Media Production Association partners on training programming.
International co-production training and networking program Trans Atlantic Partners (TAP) has secured the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) as its new Canadian Presenting Partner.
The move is intended to expand TAP’s network within the Canadian independent production market, where CMPA represents around 350 indies.
Previous Canadian Presenting Partner, the Atlantic Film Festival’s Strategic Partners, will continue to build on its five-year collaboration by remaining an integral part of the TAP programme.
CMPA joins the Erich Pommer Institut (Germany) and IFP (US) as Presenting Partners for TAP 2014.
The international coproduction market Strategic Partners will remain a key component of Module 2 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, continuing to offer TAP producers access to the world market as part of the annual TAP program.
The three-module training programme is for producers with co-production and co-venture projects in development.
