The UK’s Metropolitan Police Service has widened its investigation into allegations of sexual assault made against Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein.
According to BBC News and other sources, police are now looking at seven incidents alleged to have taken place between the 1980s and 2015 in London and outside of the UK.
At this stage, no arrests have been made as part of the ongoing investigation, which is dubbed Operation Kaguyak.
Weinstein continues to deny the claims.
Earlier in October, the BFI stripped Weinstein of his fellowship from the organisation and the producer was suspended from Bafta.
Last week, it was reported that he could lose his CBE, while yesterday he was banned for life from the Producers Guild of America.
