UK sales and distribution company Park Circus, which specialises in back catalogue titles, has undergone a staffing restructure, with Jack Bell being promoted from director of theatrical sales to the new role of director of sales and marketing.
Bell, who has been at the company for 10 years, will report into CEO Mark Hirzberger-Taylor.
Further changes include the promotions of Jack Chase to marketing manager from marketing executive, and Marthe Rolland to sales manager from sales executive, where she will oversee the company’s growing French operation. The company is set to further expand its teams in the US and UK and its international operations.
Rolland and Bell are based in the Glasgow office, while Chase is based in the London office.
The restructure comes as two outgoing senior executives, Graham Fulton, director of international sales, and Jen Davies, creative director, depart after a combined 20 years at Park Circus. The pair are moving on to set up Conic, a new UK/Ireland first-run distributor based in Glasgow, which will launch in early October.
“We are delighted at how the industry is bouncing back, with the landscape for cinema increasingly buoyant after a tough few years,” said Hirzberger-Taylor. “These internal changes recognise the successes Jack Bell has achieved in recent years across many releases and will help us bring together our sales and marketing initiatives as we move towards an exciting 2023.”
Park Circus was established in 2003 and represents over 25,000 back catalogue titles, as well as an increasing number of contemporary films on behalf of studio and independent partners.
